VCW 245 went to a family that lives in a rice field. They would use rain water for drinking and dug a small hole, about 1.5 meters deep, near their house to get water. The water from that hole made the children very sick. This well is making a huge difference in their lives!
VCW 290 went to a family that also used rain water which caused the children to constantly be sick. With the access to clean water that this well has brought, the family has been able to grow a garden. Not only do they have fresh vegetables to eat everyday now, but they have also been able to sell the vegetables to people in the village and make a profit. The well is making such a positive change for this family!
