Service Description

A custom humanitarian experience like no other. You'll dive deep into the most rural villages in Cambodia to explore, teach at our English schools, see new well sites, and visit our baby birth centers. We promise you will fall in love with the people there and gain an appreciation for what life has to offer. You'll also get to explore ancient Buddhist temples, try new foods, and enjoy the Cambodian weather. We promise it's an experience you'll never forget! Join one of our planned trips or schedule your own to fit your schedule! We can accommodate trips anywhere from one to ten days long. If you'd like to join this group, dates are flexible. Visitors can arrive or depart anytime during these dates and may extend if desired. There must be a minimum of 6 people on each trip. Our pre-planned trips usually average around 5 days in country (please remember to schedule extra time for travel). Our trips are very customizable, but your trip fees cover: -Accommodations (hotel with swimming pool) and breakfast everyday -Transportation including drivers and guides (includes tips) -Humanitarian activities and supplies -Visa fee (Not included in trip fees: flights to and from Cambodia, lunch/dinner, discretionary spending, temple entrance fees) Other things to note: -Vision Cambodia is not a travel agency and does not coordinate travel to and from Cambodia. However once you arrive in the country, accommodation, transportation, drivers, guides, etc. will be provided. -Most people choose to get additional immunizations when they travel to the tropics. Please contact your local immunization provider or health department for details. -Travel insurance is highly recommended and can be acquired with the airline at booking or is available through various online travel websites. Considerations: -Cambodia is very hot. Your hotel room and all transportation will have A/C, but be prepared for hot weather and spending time outdoors. -USD can be used for all transactions in the country. ATMs are available in Siem Reap near the hotel. -Laundry can be done for very cheap in country ($1 per kilogram). This can help to lighten your suitcases when packing. Laundry services are available right next to the hotel, the laundry attendants will wash, dry, press and shrink wrap your clothes. -Please remember that you will be visiting a developing country, so bring your patience and sense of humor. -Cambodia is a very safe country and there is very little crime or violence.
